4 Bedroom House in Lake Arrowhead
Matterhorn Hill is a 3-story, 2,620 square foot house in Lake Arrowhead, just minutes from the lake, Santa's Village, and all that Lake Arrowhead has to offer. The house sleeps up to 12 people in 14 beds. Unfortunately, our rental permit only allows for 10 guests. It has a fully stocked chef's kitchen, enough room for 20 people to dine, and a host of other amenities. All you need to bring is your food and clothes. Everything else is provided. OK, you might need to bring your toys and games. The property is sloped with a hill that runs by the side of the house. We have sleds and toboggans available to use on the property in the winter.

Our rental permit allows up to 10 people. There's a minimum 3-night stay that includes a major holiday.
The upper floor bedroom features 2 queen beds, a comfy sofa bed, and it's own bathroom with tub and shower. There is also a loft with a futon bed and card table.
The main floor has 2 bedrooms. The elk room features a king bed with smart TV, ceiling fan, luggage racks, and large closet. The bear room features a queen bed with smart TV, ceiling fan, luggage racks, a large closet, and a desk for homework or that last-minute job task.
The lower game room features two full-size bunk beds with trundle beds, offering a ton of sleeping area. There is also a smart TV, pool table, cozy leather couch, games, refrigerator and microwave, fireplace, ceiling fans, and its own half-bath.
In case you need to wash some cloths or towels, there is a separate laundry room located on the lower floor.
We have room for 1 car on the front parking deck, and 4 cars in the rear. We cannot allow any more cars than that on our property.
The home includes a backup generator for those rare power outages.
This home is ideal for family vacations, getaways with friends, or small retreats.
There are 5 smart TVs with the Spectrum app installed and a Roku device in the living room, which will allow you to get a variety of cable channels and apps.
We also have great Wifi!
The home has a gourmet kitchen with everything you need to prepare your meals. In the kitchen is a regular coffee maker, and also a Keurig machine. We supply some coffee, coffee pods, creamer, and sugar. There are also some spices in the kitchen.
We have a play pen and a high chair at the house. There is also a baby gate to block the stairs for families with small children.
The game room has a pool table and some additional games are available upstairs in the loft. The upper loft area features a card table in case you're in the mood for some poker or other card games.
Outside on the deck is a barbecue supplied with propane.
In case of snow, there are snow shovels, a regular shovel, and snow-melt pellets for the decks and walkways.
* Please note that a separate rental contract is required for rental, along with a copy of guest's photo ID. The contract includes a list of guests with contact info and ages. We also have a minimum rental age of 25.
Things to consider:
- This is NOT a party house. If you’re looking for a place to play loud music and party, this is not the right house for you. This is a house to relax in and enjoy nature, and the neighbors like having a peaceful, quiet neighborhood.
- Our cabin is a non-smoking home. We do not allow smoking in the house, on the decks, or anywhere on the property.
- Maximum occupancy is 10 persons
- Security cameras are installed on the OUTSIDE ONLY and record video and audio for security and enforcement purposes only. By accepting this booking you agree to this recording.
- Please DO NOT bring your own bedding and pillows. We have plenty of clean bedding and extra blankets at the cabin, and bringing bedding could subject the house to potential infestation of bed bugs, fleas, and other pests.
The house is a short 12 minute drive to Lake Arrowhead Village where there are many shops and restaurants, Stater Brothers market, and McDonalds. It's also a 5 minute drive to Will Abell Memorial Trail which features an easy, beautiful hike. A short 14 minute drive will take you to SkyPark at Santa's Village for activities like mountain biking, skating, zip-lining and more!
** Lake Arrowhead is a private lake and our house comes with passes to access the Lake Arrowhead trails and shoreline. Please request the Lake Access Agreement for Short-term Rental Guests if you are interested in accessing the lake. You will need to register all guests in your group with the Arrowhead Lake Association and purchase wristbands.
