Our lakefront cottage sits on a quiet and peaceful cove on beautiful Lake Oconee. The setting is in bucolic Putnam county amid pastures and farms, yet still close to lots of amenities. The dock is the perfect place to slip into the water and cool off during a hot summer day, or just to hang out and relax by the water. Take out the kayaks early in the morning and watch the sun rise for the most peaceful and serene bonding time with nature. There are several marinas close by to rent a boat for the day as well.
Enjoy the large, grassy backyard, play cornhole, or relax on the hammock swings overlooking the water. The main living space is an open floor plan where the whole family or group can hang out together or watch a movie on the big screen tv. There’s a large table for 8 to play board games as well as enjoy meals together. At night, hang out on the expansive deck, grill your favorite meal and watch the sun set over the lake. There is a large Master Bedroom and private ensuite with a whirlpool tub, body sprays in the shower and a king bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed overlooking the lake and a third bedroom with two sets of bunk beds.
