ACTIVITIES AND PLACES TO VISIT
Clearwater Beach is said to be the best beach town in Florida around here. The beach is large, beautiful, clean and equipped. You can relax in the sun or do an infinite number of sports and recreational activities.
From dolphin-spotting boat trips to deep-sea fishing, gulf cruises to adrenaline-pumping sports like kite surfing or parasiling, it's hard to get bored on a holiday here.
One of the landmarks is Pier 60, the pier that extends into the waters of the Gulf of Mexico at the end of State Road 60. There is a bar, a playground, a souvenir shop and, of course, the possibility of fishing .
Every evening at sunset the Sunset at Pier 60 is staged, the performance of street artists who gather on the pier to stage their shows with the suggestive scenery of the sunset over the sea.

Being by the sea, seafood is the main dish and one of the places to eat it of high quality, prepared in an open kitchen, is the Shore American Seafood Grill (301 S. Gulfview Rd.).
The Island Way Grill (20 Island Way) also serves good seafood, caught from boats owned by the restaurant itself. It is close to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium and has a nice view of the natural channel that separates the coast from the island of Clearwater Beach.
Even at Shephard's Tiki Beach Bar (619 S. Gulfview Blvd.) the fish is excellent. Being part of a resort, it also has exclusive access to the beach.
Directly overlooking the beach, the Blinkers Beachside Steakhouse and Lounge (476 Mandalay Ave.) is a very casual restaurant, which serves different types of dishes and often hosts musical evenings.
Very easygoing and lively is the Cooters Restaurant & Bar (20 Poinsettia Ave.), whose walls are covered with a thousand things, including many car license plates.
The location of the Palm Pavilion Beachside Grill & Bar (10 Bay Esplanade) is very beautiful, by the sea and with palm trees, which offers both meat and fish dishes in a pleasant setting. It is attached to a night club, therefore perfect for those who want to combine dinner with after dinner.

1. Florida is tropical. In such an environment, we often encounter local wildlife which includes insects. Our home is well maintained and treated regularly to reduce insect encounters. However, we can't control the occasional insect that sneaks in to say hello or is found dead (this is a good sign as the accommodation is being treated). Unfortunately we will not issue a refund for the occasional dead or live bug. It's Florida and that's part of our environment. If you happen to see a bug, let us know and we can spray for you! We don't expect this to be an issue during your stay, but we do have to mention it.
2. Pets are allowed, maximum of medium size, with additional costs. Don't hesitate to ask us for information!
3. No keys to lose or return! You can enter your personal smart lock code which will be sent to you in a message after you book!
4. We kindly ask guests to respect the quiet hours from 11.00pm to 8.00am, both indoors and outdoors, for our neighbors.

NO PETS on FURNITURE: We know you love your pets, but we kindly ask you to keep them off our furniture as they can leave a smell, stains and hair that are difficult to remove.
No SMOKING INSIDE: Please refrain from smoking inside the house! Any evidence of smoking will incur a fee for odor removal, duct cleaning, and furniture cleaning.
No PARTIES/EVENTS: We kindly ask that you treat our home as if it were your own to preserve its perfect condition for future guests and your return visits.
