1 Bedroom House in Eureka
I have made my cute craftsman home into a decade-long art project and sanctuary space, with warmth and light and gardens and color. I am offering my guest bedroom w/ queen bed for occasional guests. Also in residents (besides myself) is my cat LeeLou and dog Binga, both are older, sweet, and calm. The many hummingbirds that visit the garden inspired the name! My home is in the heart of Eureka, 15 minutes from Arcata, 40 minutes from Rockefeller Forest, home to the tallest trees in the world.
The space
The house is a 2 bedroom, one bath, however the large living room and sun room make it feel much bigger and the outdoor hot tub and hot shower make for a secondary bathing zoom. The living room is open with oriental rug gracing the fireplace. The main seating zone is in the kitchen with a coffee table set up. The sun room warms up the house during our often cool coastal days and floor to ceiling windows provide garden views from the kitchen, living room, and sun room. The room itself has a Queen size bed, closet with hangers, and a vanity desk.
Guest access
The guest bedroom and public areas... kitchen, living room, gardens. I'm open to sharing my hot tub but guests must shower first! My Bedroom is private obviously and the sun room is also my yoga space so ask first before enjoying.
Other things to note:
I offer vinyasa flow style yoga classes in my sun room for $20 per person. Also this season offering personalized eco-tours based on the season, interest and abilities. $200 for a 6 hour tour. As a Humboldt Native I know a lot of sweet spots. Let me know if you are interested in scheduling a tour or class.
