So whether you are a birdwatcher, an outdoor enthusiast, a UNG parent, a guest attending a wedding, a bride and groom, or simply friends or family gathering together for an adventurous hiking or relaxing wining vacation, you will love the rustic charm and comfort of your stay in this log home!!! Quality furnishings throughout with thoughtful attention to even the smallest details assuring your stay is as comfortable, luxurious and memorable as possible. You will experience complete privacy and serenity of being amidst North Georgia's gorgeous mountains and yet very conveniently located off Hwy 19 (affectionately known as Georgia Wine Highway. The property is in a gated subdivision exclusively of up-scale log homes only 6 miles from Dahlonega Town Square and within a few short miles of beautiful wineries, golf courses, hiking trails, waterfalls, gorgeous state parks, the Chattahoochee National Park and very near the famous Preachers Rock and Springer Mountain of the AT, only 8 miles to the stunning UNG campus and 20 miles from must-see town of Helen!!! You will find this cabin is perfect for having quality time with your travel partners, and yet affords you the ability to have some more intimate/alone time as the cabin equally accommodates on the main level as well as lower level. Both king bedrooms have luxurious bedding, private ensuite full bathroom, with large shower, vanity, toilet. You will have plenty of 100% cotton towels, starter soaps, blow dryer and make-up mirror. In addition to the king bedroom and full bath, the main level has a fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, full size refrigerator, dishwasher and a full line of cookware, and service ware, dining room table seats 4 with additional counter seating for 3, laundry room, pantry and ironing board on this main level, open concept living room with Smart TV and gas fireplace turned on by the convenience of a remote control, the large covered outdoor deck has comfy chaise lounges and lovely patio furniture as well as outdoor dining table and outdoor grill! The lower level has a beautiful and large king bedroom, full bath, a comfy living area to which we have just added a queen size murphy bed to accommodate 2 more guests. There is a gas fireplace, turned on by the convenience and ease of a remote control, a Smart TV. You can enjoy an outdoor game of foosball or hacky sack, relax and stargaze on the hightop Adirondack chairs all under the lower covered deck. And of course, what could be better after a day spent shopping or hiking than relaxing in a soothing and sparkling hot tub overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains or roast marshmallows to experience a bit of old-fashioned camping on our new wood-burning firepit or simply swing under the stars! After a vacation at Bear Footin', you will undoubtedly leave feeling rejuvenated!!! The road to the subdivision is paved, as is the private driveway. There is ample parking for 3 vehicles.
