Positioned at a high vantage point, all the better to admire the lush green hills and valleys, this makes a fantastic getaway in a unique environment. What’s more, there’s a striking roof-terrace with castle-style architecture. Where better to soak up the majesty of the Tuscan landscapes? The terrace is adjacent to the kitchen, and to a large dining room, providing a great place to gather whatever the weather. Surrounding the villa is a stretch of lawn to sprawl out on after a day of sight-seeing, and the large infinity pool is just 30 metres from the front door. Inside, you’ll find a design that’s clean and minimalist, but exceptionally comfortable. With wooden floors and high ceilings, it has many of the trademark features of a traditional Tuscan villa, remodelled in a style that’s functional and yet full of character and charm. Especially ideal for summer, the large windows and bright colour schemes allow light to fill the rooms. Guests can lounge in comfort inside and out, and with incredible views all around. There are lush lawn areas on multiple levels, and some of the very best sights can be seen from the infinity pool, which is set on the very edge of the hillside. As for the rooms themselves, there’s no shortage of space. We were particularly impressed with the open-plan kitchen, lounge and diner on the ground floor (included in every version of the property) which boasts a row of tall French windows, and an elegant decorative fireplace. What's more, it's within walking distance of two restaurants. A wonderful escape. Notes 4 double beds (cannot be converted into twins). 4 pairs of twin beds (can be converted into double beds on request). 9 bathrooms with shower. The owner’s house is opposite the property. They live on the grounds of the villa but are respectful of the guests’ privacy. The property is fully fenced. 4 unsheltered car parking spaces. This villa is not recommended for guests with mobility problems except for Apartment 3 which has step-free access. All 4 apartments have communicating doors. Pool The pool is accessed via a series of stone steps and is cleaned with a chlorine-free system. There are 10 sunloungers available for the poolside, as well as 6 sun-chairs and a gazebo. The pool measures 6x17 metres, with a depth varying between 1.3 and 1.8 metres. It is open from May to September, weather permitting. A set of Roman steps lead down into the water. The owner and their family may occasionally use the pool.
