Comfortable 1,641 sf, 2 bedroom, 2 bath Carmel-by-the-Sea home in a quiet location just a few minutes from the beach or downtown attractions. This is a perfect home base from which to explore the central California Coast - enjoy day trips from Big Sur, Cambria and Paso Robles to the south to Santa Cruz and San Francisco to the north.
Living Space
Through the arched entry gate, walk into a lovely traditional home filled with light and soothing neutrals. Beautiful cathedral ceiling living room with sitting area facing the gas-log fireplace and ornate focal point mantel. Plenty of windows, built-in cabinets. French doors lead to a small deck with ocean views.
Kitchen and Dining
The cheerful kitchen is light and bright, with a cozy banquet-style breakfast nook and access to a quaint patio through French doors that has a small seating area and propane BBQ grill.
A glass top table for four is on one end of the living area, also adjacent to the kitchen. It's a great place for meals, games and conversation.
At the top of the stairs is a large loft-style landing that is open to the living area below. It is home to a love seat and a handsome desk and leather desk chair, ideal for remote work.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Both bedrooms and bathrooms are located upstairs.
Bedroom # 1 is the primary suite which boasts a high, 4-poster queen bed with a step stool, TV and stereo. French doors lead to a small deck. Walk-in closet and en suite bath with shower, double sinks & marble vanity.
Bedroom #2 has a full/double four-poster bed.
The full hall bath has a tiled shower-over-tub with jets.
A stacked washer and dryer are located in the hall closet.
Street parking. The garage is not available for guest use.
