Summary: It was a great location and had a gorgeous view of the lake. Quiet area and close to all shops, restaurants and hiking. But , we would not stay here again. The cleanliness of the house was really bad and it had a smell, probably because of how dirty and dusty it was. I understand a vacation rental isn’t going to be perfect but this went beyond, especially for paying almost 5000 for the week. All the lamp shades and plastic plants were covered in dust. Some areas of the carpet were crunchy. The bedding smelled like “body”. The upholstered furniture was stained. There were several ant traps in the kitchen and 2 fly papers hanging in the kitchen. The kitchen sink was dirty and we had to wash pots and pans before using. The water was so metallic, you couldn’t drink it and you smelled like the water after taking a shower. We did not contact the owner because we were already there and wouldn’t get a refund. If they would have sent a cleaning crew, it would have taken an entire day from us, unfortunately.
