Super comfortable and quiet.

This space is very clean with an open floor plan and great lighting. The fully equipped kitchen has a six burner convection oven, and a bar connecting the kitchen and living room provides a great place to entertain and eat meals. The downstairs area is perfect for sitting back and enjoying your favorite show, but also boasts a Rogue rack and bench. The backyard is spacious with an outdoor grill, hot tub, and a comfortable hammock, while the front patio has great shade.

About The Space.

This gorgeous 1500-square-foot interior suite in an historic Bed Stuy Brownstone is one of a kind. I've spent 25 years renovating the space adding amenities you won't find anywhere - including a chef's kitchen, outdoor grill and kitchen, cedar hot tub, steam sauna and gym with Rogue rack, bench, mat and kettle balls. While the common areas (kitchen and living room) are shared, you'll have tons of privacy during your stay.

Greene Avenue is a quiet tree-lined block around the corner from the G train and walking distance to the A and C trains. Our home is 20 minutes to Manhattan and 10 minutes to Fort Greene, Williamsburg, and Bushwick. Thompkins Park is just one block away, and great for morning walks with a quaint coffee shop at the entrance.

Please see my guide for all the great bakeries, coffee shops, restaurants, pubs and bars surrounding this block... you might end up not traveling too far as there are so many great local options. In addition, our front stoop is great for sitting and people watching in the afternoon sun.

The space itself includes two living room areas, an open kitchen with a live edge bar for dining and socializing, two queen-sized beds and two full bathrooms including a steam room. The master bedroom is at the back of the house facing the garden for added quiet and privacy. You will wake up to bird song and sunlight, and the trees that line the front patio and back yard. It is truly like living upstate in the middle of Brooklyn.

The home is exceptionally clean, smoke-free, and solar-powered, providing a clean environment for eco-friendly travelers. It’s the perfect location for an exceptional experience during your stay in NYC.

Amenities.

The suite includes a 1 Gpbs router for high-speed Wi-Fi and has an ethernet hookup. There is a well-lit workspace including a desk, printer and ergonomic chair. The suite has a new Samsung TV with all streaming services and an en suite washer & dryer. There is equipment for surfers and beach-goers (I love to surf and the Rockaways is just 45 min away); and a full gym including a Rogue squat rack and bench, all kettlebell and barbell weights, a stationary bike, rower and mats and bands.

Your Host.

I am a career educator and brownstone renovator. Highly attentive but at the same time non-intrusive (no one likes prying landlords). My partner Sandra is a leasing agent of luxury NYC apartment rentals, so between the two of us you'll be well accommodated.

House Rules.

A maximum of two adult guests allowed; no smoking/vaping or burning materials of any kind. No large parties or group gatherings. No small children. A waver must be signed prior to use of hot tub and outdoor grill, as well as workout equip and steam sauna.

Guest Access.

You will have access to the entire 1500-square-foot space. The home is clean, private, and safe.
