- The detached cottage does not have a bathroom, heating, or cooling. There is a window AC unit in the summer and a small space heater in the winter. You will have to go outside and into the main house to use the bathroom.
- This home receives water via a well. Due to the high mineral content in our area, this water smells and tastes different than city water. Though the water is safe to drink, those who are accustomed to city water may wish to bring bottled water for drinking.
- This home is on a private septic system. To ensure proper function, please flush toilet paper only. Do not flush items such as wipes, feminine products, paper towels, or other materials, as they can cause damage or backups.
- This home is nestled in a beautiful natural setting where wildlife and insects are part of the charm. Routine pest control services are in place to ensure the comfort of our guests, but on occasion, a curious critter may make its way inside, especially if doors are left open.
