Cute stone & wood mountain chalet located in the sought-after area of Les Praz, Chamonix. Just a short walk to the Flegere ski lifts & a quick bus ride to Chamonix centre or Grands Montets.
The spacious chalet offers: a lounge with a wood fire; a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for groups & families to enjoy: a flat garden raised up from the road, perfect for building snowmen in the winter & outdoor dining in the summer.
The space
The warm wooden kitchen has everything you may need for your stay.
It has a 5 ring gas hob and a large 'Piano' style oven.
It has a free-standing work island with lots of worksurface space.
There is a Microwave, Toaster, Blender, Food Processor, Multi Grater, Kettle, Philips Senseo Coffee Machine and a Filter Coffee Machine and Salad Spinner.
There is a large fridge with 2 shelf freezer above.
The dining table seats 8.
The large lounge has 2 separate seating areas, one with a TV and DVD player, and one with a pull out desk space.
There is even an electric piano for your entertainment
There are 3 bedrooms (all on the first floor) sleeping up to 8 people but we ask for a maximum of 6 adults - it is more suitable for 6 adults and 2 children, rather than 8 adults.
Chambres Mont Blanc and Brevent both have double beds and doors out onto the balcony, with spectacular views up and down the valley.
Chambre Flegere has a double bed set in a cosy wooden alcove with an extra single bed with a second pull out single bed underneath if needed.
There is also a small mezzanine space on the stairs, which has a mattress on the floor, perfect fun space for an older child.
There are two bathrooms on the first floor. The master bathroom has a corner bath with hand-held shower hose and a separate walk in shower cubicle. (Please note - this is not a SPA jacuzzi bath.) The other bathroom has a bath with a hand-held shower hose and a basin but it does have low beams so it is more suitable for the children.
There is a separate WC on this floor and another WC on the ground Floor.
There is an additional shower on the lower level.
Guest access
You have access to an internal garage for one car and an external space for another car just outside the garage door. This is on a slope and you will need to snow clear this area for ease of access (snow shovels are in the garage).
There is ski storage rack in the garage and a large cloakroom area in the hall.
There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the garage.
Other things to note
PLEASE NOTE: Bed linen is not included in the price. You can bring your own linen (please let me know and I will send over the bed sizes) or we can provide hired linen (including towels) for 20€ per person. This needs to be ordered a couple of weeks in advance so please do let me know what you require.
A departure clean is added to the rental price but we do request that you still leave the chalet is a tidy condition when you depart. We ask you to clean any dirty kitchen items and remove any open perishable food and to take out all rubbish and recycling to the communal bins. We ask you to strip the dirty linen from the beds (if you have hired it) and leave it for us to launder.
