Summary: I stayed with my wife and two daughters (ages 10 and 7). I would rate the apartment a 2.5 if there were half stars, but rounded up to 3. There were some significant issues with the place, but the owning group responded to emails promptly and did make efforts to improve things. Pros: -Apartment was clean and looked exactly like the photos. The outdoor space was pleasant when the weather was nice. -Location worked well. It's on a narrow street on a significant hill, but that's Lisbon. Close to many metro stops. My wife was in town for a conference and it worked well for her to get to the conference and for the rest of us to get around the city. Numerous close restaurants. Cons: -Check in process was super annoying. Have to go to another location a couple of miles away to get the key and check in. And then had to pay the back half in cash. Which is just weird and a bit shady. Disliked that considerably. They did email and tell me this before I got there so it wasn't an immediate surprise, but it definitely leaves something to be desired. -Was only given 1 set of keys. Maybe I could have asked for a second, but it didn't occur to me to ask at check-in. I figured there would be a second set in the apartment. Didn't seem to be though. -The apartment had a moldy, musty smell. I get that it rained for the first 36 hours we were there, and it's a ground floor apartment. Still annoying. Found a dehumidifier and then ran that continuously. Definitely improved the smell. Owners should have made a bigger deal about letting us know about that. -Larger bed seemed to have been missing central support. As a result, it kind of sucked you into the middle. Wasn't a big deal for me, but my wife weighs considerably less than me and it kind of compressed her down into me. She slept on the couch the rest of the trip which resolved that. -There is no heat in the apartment. Which was annoying when it was cold and rainy. The had 2 space heaters that did a decent job heating the room they were in. But only 1 worked (the other would immediately flip the apartment circuit breaker when plugged in). I emailed about it, but the company didn't have any replacements available. -A couple issues were fixed quickly: shower needed to be snaked and toaster was busted. Again, annoying but fixed. As you can see, it was a mixed bag. Fine in the end. But wouldn't stay there again.
