You are invited to stay at our second home / beach condo in the private gated community of Ocean Place. A wood paneled elevator brings you up to the fifth floor and Suite 59. This fully furnished 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condominium is within the Summer Beach Resort and directly south of the Ritz Carlton Hotel and Spa. It is the larger of the 2BR units in Ocean Place, has 10 foot ceilings and plenty of room for 2 couples or a family of 6. The oceanfront bedroom has a King Bed with traditional mattress, and the second bedroom has a Queen bed with pillow-top memory foam mattress. There's also a Queen sleeper sofa in the Great Room, large screen HDTV’s in Great Room and bedrooms with free Xfinity cable service, HBO and high speed wi-fi / internet.
Views of the Atlantic Ocean can be seen from the kitchen, dining and living room areas and master bedroom, and a 180 degree ocean view from the private outdoor balcony, accessible from both the living room and master bedroom. Personal office desk, iMac and work area in the master bedroom has an ocean view also.
You will enjoy all the comforts of home, including a fully equipped kitchen with dinnerware, spare linens, bath and beach towels. You'll have access to the storage closet in the outside hallway with 8 beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas and two bicycles.
Ocean Place has two oceanfront pools for guests, both with plenty of chaise lounges, and outdoor shower and boardwalks leading to the ocean. There is a private path and sidewalk leading to the Ritz Carlton Hotel where you can enjoy the world class spa, exclusive shops, drinks at the poolside bar, and dining at their delicious restaurants (reservations required).
When not enjoying the beach, you can shop the historic district of Fernandina Beach to the north, bicycle in the Amelia Island Resort to the south, play golf at several great courses on and around Amelia Island, and dine at many great restaurants.
