The apartment is in the lower level of the owner’s house which is the iconic villa called The Round House in Marigot Bay. It has been newly developed and all furnishings and fixtures new in September 2023. It is bright, airy and modern Caribbean show casing some local artists and an amazing locally hand-made dining table.
As the House is on the ridge of the Bay there is a good breeze most of the year.
There is one large bedroom with King Bed, wardrobe, storage space and air conditioning. The shower room is large with toilet, sink, storage draws and shower cubical. The living space is open plan with a kitchen where you find a cooker and hob, kettle, toaster and washer dryer. There is a dining table, chairs and lounge area with sofa, chair and TV, plus standing fan.
The apartment will be cleaned every 3 or 4 days, including bedding and towel refresh, depending on length of stay. Our towels are Egyptian cotton and bedding is cotton bamboo and high quality cotton.
Two sliding doors take you out onto a large balcony with seating, coffee table and day bed. From the balcony you have a view of the garden and the hills of Marigot Bay. If you look carefully, you can see the sea!
You will have access to the owner’s pool from 9am to 5pm, for your sole use. The ceilings are quite low and not recommended for anyone over 6’ 4”. We have a small dog who does not wander around the garden or pool and very friendly.
It is 10-15 minutes’ walk to La Bas beach, restaurants, kayaks, paddle boards and sailing dingys. La Bas is great for snorkelling and you can arrange a day boat trip around the Island by local fishing boat, speed boat, single hull, or catamaran.
