Spectacular 5800 square foot Winnipesaukee home on beautiful private lot with views straight down the lake past Governor's Island to Gunstock Mountain. The decor of the home is cozy and inviting, offering ample choices for group gatherings as well as intimate comfy spots for quiet reflection in solitude.
The main floor gives you the living room with cathedral ceiling and floor to ceiling fireplace (sorry, this wood-burning fireplace is off limits and can't be used) along with the dining room and a true chef's kitchen which opens up to a comfy family room. The primary bedroom is situated on the main level and enjoys access to a lakeside deck, gas fireplace and full bath with shower stall and jetted tub. Access to the screen porch and large deck plus a half-bath and laundry room complete the main level.
Up one level, you will find a loft where you can curl up with that novel you've been meaning to get to (or gossip magazine - we don't judge) plus a guest suite consisting of 2 bedrooms (Queen and Twins), a living room with sofa bed & crib and wet bar including a small refrigerator plus a full bath. In addition, the second floor gives you 2 more bedrooms, each with a private bath.
Meander down to the walk-out lower level and feast your eyes on the large family room complete with a gas fireplace and pool table. This is where you'll spend your evenings snuggled on the comfy couches, laughing about the day's adventures or challenging your housemates to a game of pool - smack talk not included. The lower level also boasts another bedroom with full bath. You'll also find yet another full bathroom and second laundry room plus a wet bar with mini-fridge and a utility room with full refrigerator and ice maker.
Outside, you will gaze over the beautiful clear water and down the lake to Gunstock Mountain in the distance. A perched beach gives you access to the water where you'll enjoy swimming out to the swim raft on a hot summer's day. The dock will accommodate your boat up to 22 feet in length. The owner keeps their boat on the lift. Make sure to save room for s'mores in the evening around the fire pit on the perched beach.
